Zakharova: Turkey’s FM Should Go to Prison Instead of Resigning

MOSCOW- Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has mocked on the resignation of Turkey’s Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu.

“That should have been done after Turkey downed the Russian plane. Those cooperating with ISIL must go to jail, not simply resign,” wrote Zakharova on her official Facebook page.

 Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in a news conference following the meeting of the International Syria Support Group (ISSG) yesterday in Vienna that there is plenty of evidence pointing out at Turkey setting up a large network to supply Daesh terrorists operating in Syria with weapon and money.
