Zakharova: The world begins to realize extent of crisis over Ukraine

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stressed that most countries of the world did not support Ukraine’s anti-Russian stance because they had begun to realize the magnitude of the crisis caused by the West’s actions on Ukraine.

“The world no longer accepts such a proposition, because everyone understands that the situation is much more dangerous than the use of Ukraine by the liberal dictatorships of the West in the anti-Russian ideology,” the RIA Novosti news agency quoted Zakharova as saying today in a television interview.

Zakharova pointed to the seriousness of the current situation around Ukraine with motives from the West, as it has become devastating for all continents, and this is the problem. She noted that everyone has now realized that this situation is not local and limited and has nothing to do with history, as they are now trying to delude everyone that it is just a kind of contradiction in the region.

Zakharova indicated that the liberal dictatorships of the West replaced the religious beliefs on which their societies were built with the words of freedom, democracy and human rights and used them as a cover for enslavement.

Zakharova pointed out that the concepts of democracy are manipulated by some, like other concepts in modern political science, pointing out in this regard that even the Bible has been subjected to manipulation.
