Zakharova: The West’s position on the situation in Gaza exposes its hypocrisy at various levels

Moscow, (ST) – Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova on Wednesday affirmed that the West’s position on the situation in Gaza exposes its hypocrisy at various levels.

RT website quoted Zakharova as saying in a comment on the assertion of Swiss expert Hubert Keller (that coffee causes the emission of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere): “What coffee are Westerners talking about while Gaza is burning and has become uninhabitable”.

She added: I have never seen greater hypocrisy than the political, environmental, and even human rights hypocrisy practiced by the West, as its officials exploit these issues to serve their interests.

On the other hand, Zakharova said that what the sponsors of the Kiev regime are doing from the countries that supply it with weapons and talk about peace negotiations are nothing but political evasion.

Zakharova said: The statements about peace negotiations made by the countries that supply the Kiev regime with weapons and sponsor it are nothing but political evasion, and a continuation of the involvement of these countries in fighting alongside Ukraine.
