Moscow – Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Thursday that terrorists in Daraa province have chemical weapons and they intend to use them against residential areas in the province in order to put the blame on the Syrian Army, SANA reported.
“There are currently several munitions filled with toxic agents at the Shabab al-Sunnah group’s warehouse located in the Bosra al-Sham town, Daraa province,” Zakharova said in a press conference in Moscow.
“According to our information, militants plan to use these weapons to attack one of the areas in the Daraa province, putting the blame on the government forces,” Zakharova added.
She pointed out that the six residential areas which are most likely to come under chemical attack are Haran, Nawa, Inkhil, Jamila, Tafas and Daira.
