Zakharova: NATO promotes terrorism by supporting Kiev regime

Moscow (ST): Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova confirmed that NATO is promoting terrorism through its support for the Kiev regime.

In response to the statement of NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg that the Russian special military operation is not only an attack on Ukraine but also on human values, Zakharova said, according to what was reported by Sputnik Agency.

“Human values were attacked when a coup was carried out in Kiev in 2014 with financial support from the United States and the European Union,” she said.

Zakharova considered that “a group of bloody clowns under the auspices of NATO is now promoting terrorism in the entire world.”

Meanwhile, Russia’s ambassador to Washington, Anatoly Antonov, confirmed that the United States is increasingly involved in the Ukraine crisis, and has pushed the situation in this country towards a deeper tragedy.

Sputnik quoted Antonov as saying, commenting on the new package of military weapons provided by the United States to Kiev at a value of about $325 million: “The United States continues to push the situation in eastern Ukraine towards a greater tragedy, and forces many countries to supply Vladimir Zelensky’s regime with weapons and ammunition.”

Antonov made it clear that Washington does not intend to abandon its main goal, which is to launch a strategic strike on Russia on the battlefield, and it does not matter how much this result will cost in terms of human losses.
