Zakharova: Britain’s supply of uranium missiles to the Kiev regime is a provocative step

Moscow (ST): Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova confirmed that Britain’s plans to provide the Kiev regime with depleted uranium missiles represent a “provocative step” and push the conflict to a new stage.

Novosti agency quoted Zakharova as saying today: “It is an absolutely reckless act that shows irresponsibility, and aims to transfer and push the situation in Ukraine into a new round of conflict and confrontation, which testifies to the West’s intention to destroy Ukraine in the midst of this conflict”.

Zakharova stressed that these actions “result from the evasion of the Anglo-Saxon duo represented by London and Washington from accountability regarding international affairs.”

British Deputy Defense Secretary Annabelle Goldie announced yesterday that in addition to providing combat tanks to Ukraine, it will be supplied with ammunition, including armor-piercing missiles containing depleted uranium.
