On January 14, the Deputy Director of the Institute of the Commonwealth of Independent States(CIS) Vladimir Yvesiev stressed the need to dismiss the American occupation forces out of all the Syrian lands, as well as from Iraq and Afghanistan.
“Syria, along with other countries and forces of the axis of resistance, is working to get the Americans out. While there are other countries, such as the Gulf sheikhdoms, including Qatar, which has a large American base, that do not want the American to leave,” Yvesiev said in an interview with a Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) correspondent in Moscow.
“The illegal US military presence in the region is an element of destabilization and has caused major crises in it,” Yvesievadded.
He said that Russia will continue to support Syria until the liberation of all its territory, and this applies to the occupied Syrian Golan as well.
Yvesiev said that the recent visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Damascus confirmed the friendship and cooperation ties between the two countries.
The Director of the Institute of Orientalism’s Center for Contemporary Turkey Study Amur Gadjiev said that the Turkish intervention in the affairs of Libya is a blatant interference in the affairs of a sovereign state. Turkey aims to plunder Libya’s oil wealth as it did in Syria.
“Turkey is trying to illustrate this crisis as a conflict between two parties that have nothing to do with it, but in fact it helps one of the parties and supports it with weapons and terrorists who transport them from Syria to Libya,” Gaddiyev said in an interview with a Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA)correspondent in Moscow.
