Youth launch initiative ‘return to Palestine ‘

A Forum of the young Palestinians, who want to return to Palestine, held its first meeting at the headquarters of the Palestinian National Council in Damascus. It comes within the frame work of the Global campaign to return to Palestine.  
 
The participants in the forum asserted the need to unify the efforts of the Palestinian youths to achieve the goals of the Palestinian people and to enhance the culture of voluntary work in all fields. 
 
The young Palestinians will work in all refugee camps all over the world to form groups with the aim of reviving national occasions related to the right of return .
 
The official in charge of the global campaign to return to Palestine in Syria,Khlid Abdulmajed, clarified that the forum is an initiative launched by youths, who work on reactivating the role of Palestinian youths and all youths who believe in the Palestinian people’s rights. 
 
For his part, Secretary General of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine General-Command Talal Naji said that the  forum is important as it is a new contribution to enhance the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and their struggle against the Israeli occupation. 
 
He pointed out that the goals of the destruction of the Palestinian refugee camps in Syria were to displace the Palestinians to western countries and to delete their right of return to serve the Israeli occupation.  
 
Director-General of the International Al-Quds Institution in Syria Khalaf Al-Jarad said that the focus on youths keeps the Palestinian cause alive for the coming generations. 
 
He added that the forum backs the Palestinian cause since it gathers youths from Arab and regional countries.
