Yemen’s Shura Council and House of Representatives condemn the Israeli aggression on Damascus

The Yemeni Shura Council condemned the Israeli aggression that targeted Damascus and its surroundings at dawn last Sunday, and resulted in the martyrdom of five people and the wounding of 15 others.
The Presidency of the Council affirmed during its meeting, chaired by Council President Muhammad Hussein al-Aidarous. that the Israeli aggression constitutes a flagrant violation and a serious breach of Syria’s sovereignty and independence, and a new and undoubted proof of the Zionist entity’s aggression and criminality against human values and its thirst for killing regardless of the humanitarian crisis that Syria is going through as a result of the destructive earthquake.
The Council called on the international community to shoulder its responsibility and take action against this blatant aggression and the repeated zionist criminal practices and abuses that are inconsistent with the Charter of the United Nations and all international norms and coventions.

In turn, the Yemeni parliament condemned in a statement the Israeli aggression on the Syrian territory as it is a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of an independent Arab state, amid shameful international silence, stressing Syria’s right to respond to these blatant attacks.

The statement pointed out that the Security Council, the United Nations and the international community the legal, human and moral are responsible for these blatant hostile actions, which are inconsistent with the Charter of the United Nations and all international norms and coventions, reiterating the solidarity of Yemen’s parliament, government and people with their Syrian broghers
