Yemeni parliament condemns US sanctions and foreign attacks against Syria

Yesterday, the Yemeni House of Representatives condemned the US sanctions and the foreign attacks and violations against Syria, expressing its full solidarity with the Syrian people in their war against terrorism and the occupying powers.

In its session headed by Yahya Ali Al-Ra’i, the Council condemned the looting of oil wealth and the kidnapping of civilians in northern Syria by the American occupation and the continuation of the American siege and sanctions.

The Council denounced  the continued persistence of the Turkish regime and its armed organizations in repeatedly cutting water from the people of Al-Hasakah city.

 

The Council also expressed its full solidarity with Syria’s leadership and people in its war against terrorism, stressing its right to confront the Israeli enemy and any external aggression and to respond to all the violations it is subjected to.

The Council denounced the continuation of the embargo and US economic sanctions on Syria and the resulting economic and humanitarian crises and repercussions that harmed Syrian citizens.
