Yemeni children rally in condemnation of the continuous Saudi aggression on their country

Yemen’s capital Sanaa on Tuesday witnessed a massive rally for Yemeni children condemning the continuous Saudi aggression and unfair siege on their country.

According to al-Masirah.net website, the children carried the photos of the children who were martyred and wounded in Saudi airstrikes on residential areas over the past seven years. They also carried placards condemning the international silence over the crimes being committed by the Saudi aggression against the Yemenis.

Organizers of the rally issued a statement condemning the Saudi crimes against the Yemeni people, noting the economic siege on the country and the thousands of sick and injured persons who need to travel to receive treatment outside Yemen. The statement criticized the international community’s silence which contributes to depriving the Yemeni children from having access to medicine and medical treatment.

The statement explained the suffering of millions of children who were displaced from their homes and deprived from safety due to the Saudi bombardment, and who suffer from food shortages and have been deprived of education due to shelling Yemeni schools.

The statement called for global awakening to give the Yemeni children a chance to live within normal and safe circumstances.
