Yemeni army, popular committees destroy 13 Saudi military vehicles

SANA’A,(ST)_Yemeni army and popular committees have  destroyed 13 Saudi military vehicles in Jizan area, the Yemen News Agency(Saba) reported today.

The agency quoted a Yemeni military source as saying that Yemeni army units and popular committees destroyed 13 Saudi military vehicles after they controlled Hameda town and several Saudi military posts.

Saudi soldiers fled the posts and left their weapons there, the source said, adding that Yemeni army and the popular committees inflicted heavy losses on al-Qaeda terrorists and the Saudi-led aggression’s mercenaries in al-Waze’eyeh area.

In another development, the Saudi air raids struck on Monday two tents of a wedding party in Ahijah village, near the Red Sea port city of Mokha, Taiz governorate, killing at 131 people, including women and children.

While today, the Saudi aggression airstrikes targeted the archaeological Dhofair Fort in Mabian town in Hajjah province, destroying the fort completely.

RT website quoted the United Nations as saying that at least 2,355 civilians have been killed the last six months since the Saudi-led coalition begins military operations in Yemen.
