Yemen, Saudi Arabia continue implementing major prisoner swap deal

Sanaa/Riyadh- Yemeni and Saudi media outlets on Saturday announced that the prisoner swap between Yemen and Saudi Arabia continues. Three planes with 213 Yemeni prisoners on board have arrived in Sanaa coming from Saudi Arabia, while one plane carrying a number of Saudi, Yemeni and Sudanese prisoners arrived in Riyadh coming from Yemen.

Friday evening, 250 Yemeni prisoners arrived in Sanaa within a major prisoner swap that involves 706 prisoners. The process will be implemented within three days, according to the media outlets.

Saudi media outlets reported citing official sources that 16 Saudi prisoners, as well as 3 Sudanese ones and a number of Yemen prisoners arrived today in Riyadh as part of a UN-mediated swap deal.
