Yemen Air Defenses shoot down an American drone in the skies of Dhamar Governorate
Today, Yemini armed forces announced that they shot down an American MQ-9 drone in the skies of Dhamar governorate while it was carrying out hostile missions.
Yemeni media quoted the armed forces as saying in a statement: “The drone was shot down with a locally-made surface-to-air missile. It is the third drone in a week and the tenth of this type that the Yemeni air defenses have been able to shoot down”.
The statement stressed that “the armed forces will continue to confront the American-British aggression and its hostile military movements, in support for the Palestinian people through qualitative military operations on land and at sea”. It stressed that “these operations will not stop until the aggression stops and the siege on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip is lifted.”
