Writer Rashad Abu Shawer writes a novel that monitors tragedy of Palestinian people

“Farewell Thekrin” is a new novel by the writer Rashad Abu Shawer, which sheds light on the Arabs Nakba in Palestine and the suffering of the Palestinian people who waged uprisings, strikes and revolutions for the sake of liberation.

Thekrin in the novel is the name of the author’s village and his hometown that lives in his memory. Its scenes and neighborhoods are at the forefront of the chapters of the novel so that its wells, alleys and beauty remain a gateway to liberation and getting rid of colonialism.

The novel monitors the feeling of the Arabs, the great wound through the Nakba and the threat of widening pain if liberation is not achieved.

The novelist Abu Shawer shows in his novel that after the farewell there will be the real meeting and liberation, and that the events reveal the extent of the Palestinian people’s insistence on restoring their land and expelling the colonialists.

Writer Abu Shawer praised the efforts of all activists in the world, especially those who defend their freedoms, lands, and respect for the dignity and rights of others.

It is noteworthy that Abu Shawer is a member of the Arab Writers Union.
