World Youths Conference elects Syrian lady as ambassador

 

 

A Syrian young lady has been elected as an Ambassador of the UN Advisor for Youths Environment Affairs in West Asia.

Basma Dali became an ambassador as a result of elections held in Nairobi on the sideline of World Youths Conference. The four-day event was kicked off  on February 11th with the participation of 200 youths from 100 countries.

Al-Radar website quoted Dali as saying: “I have worked tirelessly to enhance my country’s participation in the World Youths Conference in Nairobi. I’m very happy for representing my beloved country, Syria, West Asia, Syrian youths, my family, and my friends.”
