World Food Program: Food rations in Gaza Strip are enough for only a few days

Geneva, (ST) – The United Nations World Food Program on Wednesday warned that the food rations in the besieged Gaza Strip is sufficient for only several days due to the continuous Israeli occupation aggression against it for the eleventh day and its prevention of the entry of aid.

Wafa News Agency quoted the spokeswoman for the World Food Program in the Middle East, Abeer Atifa, in a press statement today, saying: The food rations in the Strip is enough for a few days, perhaps only four or five days.

The Palestine Red Crescent Society confirmed earlier on Wednesday that the situation in Gaza Strip is catastrophic, and urgent international intervention is necessary to stop the occupation’s aggression and allow aid to enter the Strip.
