World Cup 2014-10 days to go

Spain’s triumph at South Africa 2010 tipped the historical FIFA World Cup™ balance in favor of Europe, who go into Brazil 2014 with a 10-9 lead over South America.

Italy have been the old continent’s most successful team with four world titles, followed by Germany on three and England, France and Spain with one apiece.

South America’s haul, meanwhile, is dominated by Brazil’s record five crowns, with Argentina and Uruguay each having contributed two.
