Workshop on Development of Exports

DAMASCUS, (ST)- Exports Development and Promotion Authority of the Ministry of Economy and Foreign Trade, in cooperation with the National Center for Agricultural Policy at the Ministry of Agriculture held recently a workshop entitled “Syrian foreign trade and available export opportunities for some of the material .. functional food”.

The workshop included a series of lectures initiated by the Director General of Exports Development and Promotion Authority, IhabIsmandar, titled “Analysis of the Syrian Foreign Trade between the years 2011-2013”.

For his part, the researcher Mahmoud Babilly from the National Center for Agricultural Policiestook Russia as a model in his presentation of a lecture entitled “Prospects of functional food in Syria and exporting it to international markets.” He also introduced a mechanism to explore agricultural trade opportunities during a lecture entitled “Proposal of the Syrian, Iran, Lebanese,Iraqi Common Market.”

Participants reviewed the important points that have been raised through the workshop in order to achieve the best results.
