Workers of the General Company for Electricity in Hasaka continue with their sit- in protesting against SDF’s closure of the company
HASAKA, (ST)- Workers of the General Company for Electricity in Hasaka have continued with their sit-in in front of the company’s headquarters in Al-Nashwa neighborhood in protest against its closure under the threat of weapons by the US occupation –backed Kurdish militia called “Syrian Democratic Forces” (SDF).
According to SANA reporter the workers’ sit-in has been continuous over the past 25 days demanding that they return to their work to help provide services to citizens across Hasaka.
On June 27, the US-backed SDF groups occupied the headquarters of the Electricity Company branch in Hasaka, located in al-Nashwa neighborhood, in addition to several vital government buildings.
