Women in Gaza rally against the “Deal of the Century”

OCCUPIED AL-QUDS, (ST)- Hundreds of women in the occupied Palestinian city of Gaza took part in a massive rally to express condemnation of the so-called “Deal of the Century” which aims at terminating the Palestinian cause.

According to Maan news agency, some of the participants affirmed that the Palestinian women will continue their struggle alongside the men of resistance until all the conspiracies that aim at undermining the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people are foiled.  

   In Beirut, the Lebanese maronite archbishops reaffirmed their rejection of the “Deal of the Century” calling it a flagrant violation of international laws and it increases extremism and terrorism in the region.

In a statement on Wednesday, the archbishops said that “the project, called “Deal of the Century disregards all the UN and Security Council resolutions and ignores the Palestinian people’s rights to have a land, and live in security and peace inside a viable state.

The statement pointed out that the deal undermines the Middle East peoples’ hope in realizing just and comprehensive peace based on international legitimacy resolutions.
