With the participation of Syrian students, the activities of “Zubrunk” summer recreation camp continue in Belarus
Minsk (ST)_ The activities of the “Zubrunk” summer camp for health recreation, hosted by Belarus, continue for two weeks, with the participation of Syrian students at the invitation of the Belarusian Ministry of Education. The camp activities included a visit to the “Water City.”
The participating children toured the Belarusian capital, Minsk, and learned about its archaeological and historical landmarks, as well as a visit to the city’s shopping center.
The camp activities also included a visit to the castles of “Nestvig” and “Mir”, in addition to the Belarusian National Library and a shopping mall. The activities also included a visit to higher education institutions and the Second World War Museum, as well as a visit to an amusement park and a party for the participants.
The number of participants in the camp is 73 male and female students who excelled in the basic education certificate exams in the schools of the Syrian Arab Republic in addition to 7 supervisors.
The Syrian students participating in the camp arrived last Wednesday in the Belarusian capital, Minsk, where the Syrian ambassador to Belarus, Mohammad Al-Amrani, expressed his welcome to the students’ arrival and their participation in the camp, expressing the Syrian side’s high appreciation for the Belarusian humanitarian leadership’s initiative that has been going on for nearly five years, which included hundreds of Syrian children from various categories, reflecting the depth of friendship relations and the desire to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two sides.
