With the participation of Syria, the opening of the fifth session of the China International Import Fair

Damascus (ST):  With the participation of Syria, the fifth session of the China International Import Fair was inaugurated today, virtually, in the presence of the Chinese President and the participation of a number of ministers and government officials from the participating countries and officials in some international organizations and bodies.

The exhibition, which was attended by the Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade, Dr. Muhammad Samer Al-Khalil, continues via video until the tenth of this month, accompanied by the Hongqiao International Economic Forum and many other activities.

The event is considered the largest international platform through which the products of the countries, companies, and institutions participating in the Fair are displayed, promote their brands, and conclude deals and partnerships.

The fair is the first global exhibition focusing on imports at the national level, with the cumulative turnover of the past four sessions reaching more than $270 billion.
