With the participation of Syria, the Ministerial Round Table of the Information Society Forum will start tomorrow in Geneva
The Ministry of Communications and Technology is participating in the ministerial round table discussions of the Information Society Forum, which will be held in Geneva tomorrow, at the invitation of the International Telecommunication Union.
The discussions of the round table, which is being held for the third time, focus on investing emerging modern technologies in digital services, transformation and digital inclusion to achieve the sustainable development goals, and will be attended by the communications ministers of the member states of the Union.
Topics that will be raised by the Ministry of Communications and Technology represented by Minister Eng. Iyad Al-Khatib include the importance and role of cloud computing, government data carrier and information security in digital transformation, in addition to the fifth generation services that will allow the use of the third operator in Syria in order to regulate the electronic applications market as a basis for building a knowledge society and digital economy in Syria.
