With the participation of Syria, the high-level meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement kicks off tomorrow

The work of a high-level meeting on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Non-Aligned Movement will start on October 11th in the Serbian capital Belgrade. 

The Syrian Arab Republic will participate in the meeting with a delegation headed by Dr. Faisal al-Miqdad, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.The delegation includes Dr. Bashar Al-Jaafari, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Abdullah Hallaq, Director of the Special Office Department, and Dr. Ammar Awad, Chargé d’Affairs on behalf of the Syrian Embassy in Belgrade. 

 

Dr. Faisal al-Miqdad will meet a number of his counterparts participating in the meeting, where the situation of the Non-Aligned Movement, international developments and bilateral relations will be discussed. 

On October 10th, Dr. Faisal al-Miqdad and the accompanying delegation were received in Belgrade by Serbian Deputy Foreign Minister Diana Ivancic.
