With the participation of Syria, a stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people in Cyprus

The Syrian diplomatic mission in Cyprus has participated in the solidarity stand organized by the Palestinian Embassy in Nicosia on the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.
The stand, which took place with the participation of the Council of Arab Ambassadors to Cyprus, a number of ambassadors of friendly countries, and a crowd of Cypriot citizens, included a blood donation campaign for the wounded and injured as a result of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
The participants in the protest condemned the crimes of genocide committed by the Israeli occupation forces against the Palestinians in Gaza Strip, which violate international law.
During his participation in the solidarity stand, Stefanos Stefanou, Secretary General of the Cypriot AKEL Party, affirmed his party’s position in support of the Palestinian people in the face of Israeli crimes, calling for an end to the Israeli occupation of the occupied Arab territories, including the occupied Syrian Golan, in accordance with the relevant international legitimacy resolutions.
