With the participation of Syria, the General Conference of ALECSO Starts in Saudi Arabia

With the participation of Syria, the 27th session of the General Conference of the Arab Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) began today in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

A number of Arab Ministers of Education and Culture and delegations of the National Educational, Cultural and Scientific Committees of the Arab States participate in the Conference, where the delegation of the Syrian Arab Republic is headed by the Minister of Education, Dr. Mohamed Amer Al-Mardini.

The conference deals with the organization’s plan of action in the fields of education, science and culture through specialized working sessions.

On the 14th of this month, Syria participated in the work of the Twenty-First Ordinary Session of the Executive Council of the Arab educational, cultural and scientific organization “ALECSO”, which was held in Jeddah and was a prelude for today’s General Conference of the Organization.
