With the participation of about 100 companies from different governorates, Hama Shopping Festival opened

Hama (ST): In the vicinity of the ancient castle in Hama, the activities of the “Spring of Good 2023” shopping festival, which is being held by the General Secretariat of Hama Governorate in cooperation with Industry and commerce chambers kicked off with the wide participation of companies and commercial and economic events from different governorates.

The opening ceremony witnessed the presentation of carnival performances for civil and governmental activities, which included lyrical performances, sports movements, and theatrical, folk and heritage performances that embodied the state of joy in victory and steadfastness in the face of the unjust siege.

The festival included a shopping exhibition with the participation of about 100 companies from the public and private sectors, which presented about 350 brands, which included various products such as clothing, foodstuffs, electrical, chemical industries, detergents and handicrafts.

In his speech at the opening ceremony, the Governor of Hama, Dr. Mahmoud Zanboua, indicated that the launch of the Hama Shopping Festival took place with great efforts from the people of the province, who renew the economic giving with their initiatives, indicating that this event provides an opportunity for shopping within the path of economic recovery that Syria is witnessing, thanks to the steadfastness of its people to overcome the ordeal.

The head of the Hama Chamber of Industry, Ziyad Arabo, explained that the re-establishment of the festival in Hama with new ideas contributes to the continued rotation of the economic wheel in the governorate, through effective partnership between government institutions and the private sector, in addition to providing an opportunity for companies to display their products to the consumer directly without an intermediary, sign work contracts between companies and secure job opportunities for graduates of universities and institutes.
