With the participation of 88 national companies…”Khan Al-Harir” Specialized Textile Exhibition” kicks off tomorrow

The activities of the 6th edition of “Khan Al-Harir” specialized Textile Exhibition – “Spring and Summer 2025” will kick off tomorrow at the Damascus Fairgrounds with the participation of 88 national companies.

Engineer Mohammad Ayman Al-Molawi, Head of the Damascus and its Countryside Chamber of Industry, said in a statement to SANA that the exhibition, organized by the Aleppo and Damascus Chambers of Industry and under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Economy, is the first major economic event after the liberation.

He stressed that it serves as a pioneering effort to restore the status of the textile industry and garment manufacturing in all its forms.

Al-Molawi highlighted the importance of specialized exhibitions due to the benefits they provide to all parties involved, including producers, traders, and consumers. These exhibitions open markets for exporting products, which positively impacts the national economy.

For his part, Mohammad Zizan, a member of the Aleppo Chamber of Industry’s Board of Directors and Head of the Exhibitions Committee, pointed out that all preparations for the specialized exhibition covering children’s, men’s, and women’s clothing industries, fabrics, shoes, and production supplies have been completed. Invitations were sent to economic entities from various governorates, particularly in Idlib and its countryside, as well as in rural Aleppo, such as the industrial cities of Al-Rai and Al-Bab, to re-establish communication and cooperation after a long period of interruption.

Zizan added that all facilities have been provided for Arab businessmen interested in visiting the exhibition, with many expressing their desire to attend, particularly from Iraq and Jordan.

He emphasized that the exhibition marks the beginning of a series of comprehensive and specialized internal and external exhibitions, as well as export-focused events, that aimed at promoting national products and opening new markets for industrialists to showcase and market their products.
