With the participation of 56 women,  the “Creativity 13” exhibition and bazaar opens in Homs

Homs (ST): A group of 56 creative young women, who own small projects, in cooperation with the Homs Chamber of Commerce, inaugurated the “Creativity 13” exhibition and bazaar in the Hamra district in Homs city.

The exhibition and bazaar, in its 13th edition, includes a variety of handmade products, such as bags, embroidered works, handmade accessories such as colored beads, antiques, candles, soap of all kinds, oriental utensils, and other productive projects.

The supervisor of the exhibition and bazaar, Gazal Tarsha, indicated that women and young women from the new generation from Homs and some governorates participated in presenting their products and introducing their talents within the bazaar to market their handicrafts.

The head of the Homs Chamber of Commerce, Muhammad Iyad Daraq al-Sibai, explained that the exhibition and the bazaar are witnessing a wide participation in its 13th session of various products, especially the handicrafts that Syrian women master within small projects, which constitute one of the goals of the Chamber’s work by supporting and expanding it by implementing a number of initiatives together.

One of the participants in the exhibition and bazaar, Nawar Al-Husseini said: She periodically participates in the exhibition with her products of embroidered works, which are currently popular.

As for her sister, Mais, she started her project to produce accessories and adornments, using beads, threads, and some fabrics, as she used her studies at the Institute of Fine Arts to produce creative designs that mimic the spirit of the era.

As for Mrs. Nahla Auf, a graduate of the Sobhi Shoaib Institute of Fine Arts, she invested her talents in drawing in making solid wood and wax and aesthetic paintings to decorate the walls of houses inspired by the original architectural heritage.
