Moscow (ST): Within the framework of Syrian-Russian media cooperation, the first training meetings for the Syrian youth media delegation, which is currently visiting Russia, began in the Russian capital, Moscow, at the headquarters of the Arabic “Arte Russia Today” channel, to learn about the techniques and media experiences that the channel uses in its work and media activity.

At the beginning of the meeting, the officials calling for the visit and participating in the press training presented the delegation’s training program within the media in Moscow, pointing out that the preparation for the visit project was carried out by the General Administration of the Russian-Syrian Business Council in cooperation with the management of “Russia Today” channel and in coordination with the Ministry of Information and the Syrian Embassy in Moscow, and it is implemented by the efforts of the Russian Agency for International Humanitarian Cooperation under the title “New Generation”.

For his part, Minister Al-Hallaq affirmed that the Syrian-Russian relations are rooted throughout history, but they appeared clearly through the Russian government, people and leadership standing with the Syrian state in its war against terrorism.

The Minister of Information pointed out that Syria was able to convey the truth of the situation while defending itself, its people and its sovereignty, through many political and media forums, and it is with the same logic, Syria views the reality of the special military operation carried out by Russia in Ukraine as an act of defense of truth and sovereignty because neo-Nazis and ISIS are two sides of the same coin.
