With local and international participation, the “HITEC” exhibition for communications Kicks off  next Thursday

The activities of the eighth session of the Information and Communication Technology Exhibition, HITEC, kicks off on Thursday the 23rd of June 2022, with the participation of local and international companies representing 180 local and international brands from 20 countries, in addition to direct participation from Egypt, Jordan and Iran, on the exhibition fair grounds in Damascus.

The Director General of the Arab Group of Exhibitions, which organized the exhibition, Alaa Hilal, said that the exhibition represents an important information forum that presents the latest and most important solutions, systems, software and applications for computers and smartphones, and constitutes an opportunity to view the latest applications and technologies used in the field of informatics, smart cities, e-government, electronic payment and others. Hilal added: The exhibition aims to contribute to raising the information culture, facilitating its spread, displaying the latest information solutions and their practical applications. and regionally.

In conjunction with the exhibition, the “First Hitech Forum” will be held under the title “Digital Transformation and Electronic Payment”, which brings together decision makers, experts and business organizations in interactive workshops to discuss the current status of digital services in the field of electronic payment, business automation, and integration with e-government services.

Hilal pointed out that the exhibition facilitates linking new graduates from engineering colleges to the labor market through HITEC incubator for distinguished graduation projects from various Syrian universities, as it provided them with spaces and pavilions to present their projects to visitors, which would provide them with the opportunity to obtain an investor and explore the actual market requirements and business sector needs.

It is noteworthy that the exhibition will continue until the 27th of this month, with the provision of free transportation for visitors by buses that depart from the areas of the President Bridge and Bab Touma Square around the clock throughout the days of the exhibition.
