With Arab and foreign participation, the activities of the 19th edition of the International Building Exhibition (BUILDEX) launched

Damascus (ST): With the participation of 265 local, Arab and foreign companies, the activities of the 19th edition of the International Building Exhibition “Buildex 2022” kicked off  on the grounds of the fairgrounds in Damascus.

Participating companies, within 150 pavilions, display their products from building and construction materials, air-conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration equipment, solar energy devices, water and environmental technologies, stone, marble, paint, insulation materials, security and safety systems, lighting and others.

In a statement to the media after the opening, the Minister of Public Works and Housing, Eng. Suhail Abdel Latif, confirmed that the exhibition witnesses the participation of a wide range of local private and public Arab and foreign companies, and this indicates the complete readiness for the next phase of reconstruction and construction despite the conditions of war and the unjust siege on the country.

Minister Abdel Latif pointed out that there is a development in the local product, which is the only way out in light of the sanctions that the country is witnessing, pointing out that this wide participation reflects the state of recovery of the participating companies and the Syrian economy and its diversity, and it is a determination to start reconstruction despite the unprecedented challenges Syria is going through.
