With a daily production of 13,200 kilograms of flour, Daraa Al-Balad and Tishreen bakeries resume work
Daraa (ST): Daraa al-Balad and Tishreen reserve bakeries resumed work after securing the required supplies of flour, yeast, fuel and other materials.
The director of the branch of the Syrian Corporation for Bakeries, Eng. Farid Al-Suwaidan, said that once security and stability returned to the neighborhoods of Daraa Al-Balad, Al-Sad Road, and the camps within the framework of the settlement agreement proposed by the state, the two bakeries began working to provide bread to citizens in sufficient quantities and the with required quality, indicating that the bakeries also provide the needs of some communities in Daraa Al-Mahatta neighborhood.
He added that the production capacity of the two bakeries amounts to 13,200 kilograms of flour per day, including 7,200 kilograms for the reserve Tishreen bakery, and the rest for Daraa Al-Balad, indicating that the governorate today increased the allocations for the Daraa Al-Balad bakery by 1.5 tons at the request of the population. The bakeries stopped working for two months.
