Winners in the competitions of the Digital Transformation and Renewable Energy Entrepreneurs honored

The National Union of Syrian Students (NUSS) and the Syrian Young Entrepreneurs Association (SYEA) on Saturday honored the winners in the competitions of the Digital Transformation and Renewable Energy Entrepreneurs, which were organized within the framework of the “Have the Future” Program for Entrepreneurs.

Eight projects won in the competitions, three in the field of digital transformation and five in the renewable energy field.

Head of the NUSS Dareen Suleiman affirmed the union’s support for disseminating the culture of entrepreneurship and self-employment among youths and for providing the necessary environment to transform the youths’ ideas and graduation projects into successful projects with economic feasibility or viable products that can be invested in cooperation with supporting bodies.

Suleiman noted the success achieved in the 1st Entrepreneurship Investment Forum which was recently organized by the NUSS in cooperation with SYEA with the aim of encouraging and supporting the projects of university students and entrepreneurs and eliminating the obstacles that face them.

She hailed the support being provided by President Bashar Al-Assad and First Lady, Mrs. Asma Al-Assad to the youths and university students in all fields, stressing the importance of Mrs. Asma Al-Assad’s visit to the 1st Entrepreneurship Investment Forum and her meeting with the participating entrepreneurs and representatives of the business sector and the small and micro-sized financing companies to reaffirm the need to support this category of society.

During the honoring ceremony, Suleiman launched the 4th entrepreneurship competition in the field of the (Arab Digital Content) and invited all youths and students to participate in this event.

On his part, Chairman of the Board of SYEA Louay Al-Munajjed hailed association’s fruitful cooperation with the NUSS with the aim of supporting youth projects and encouraging the youths to build their own future through creating their job opportunities themselves.
