WikiLeaks co-founder Julian Assange declared that the upcoming release of emails regarding the Democratic presidential nominee deemed to be so damaging will include more information on Clinton Foundation malfeasance, Sputnik reported.
In mid-June, WikiLeaks announced that they were preparing “upcoming leaks in relation to Hillary Clinton,” that the information was recovered from the former Secretary of State’s private homebrew server, and that the evidence would be sufficient to indict the beleaguered politician who continues to ride a campaign of Russia-baiting her political opponent Donald Trump to fend off her own historical levels of unpopularity and an unprecedented level of distrust held by the public of her candidacy.
In an interview with RT’s Afshin Rattansi on Friday, WikiLeaks co-founder Julian Assange opened up about the coming email release acknowledging that the files will implicate the Clinton Foundation if not revive the case dropped by the FBI earlier this year into whether or not she mishandled US state secrets in her role as Secretary of State.
“Our view is that the evidence that the FBI already has is enough for a grand jury to indict,” explained Assange. “It’s not hard. It is saying that a grand jury would indict a ham sandwich if you order it to, but the prosecutor has to ask the grand jury to indict and if the prosecutor doesn’t ask then the grand jury cannot indict.”
Assange also pointed to Hillary Clinton’s relations with Saudi Arabia a country that now worries where her allegiances fall in the region. “[Her connection to Saudi Arabia] is extensive. The relations between Hillary and Saudi Arabia. The Clinton Foundation and Saudi Arabia,” opined Assange. “Saudi Arabia is probably the single largest donor to the Clinton Foundation. You can see Hillary’s arms export policies where she was Secretary of State favoring Saudi Arabia extensively.”
The whistleblower also blasted the Clinton for her allegations that Trump is a secret Russian agent.
Perhaps his most damning statements were Clinton’s financial links to radical “Jihadist” groups in the Middle East and the State Department’s policy of using Libya as conduit to get arms to Syria.
“The US government, at the time that Hillary Clinton was in charge of US foreign policy, did use Libya as a conduit to get arms to Jihadists in Syria,” said Assange. “That is well established not just by a range of our materials, but also by the investigative work of Sy Hersh.”
Assange also called into question links between Hillary Clinton’s former employer LaFarge, a cement company that the presidential candidate served on the board of directors for, which is now under investigation for contracting with the Daesh (known colloquially as ISIS) terror network in Syria.
“La Monde found that [LaFarge] paid ISIS/Daesh money, taxes if you will, for their operations in certain areas and they engaged in a variety of business deals,” said Assange. “Hillary Clinton’s involvement is that money from LaFarge in 2015 and 2016 went to the Clinton Foundation. Why did it go to that foundation? There is a long-time connection between Hillary Clinton and La Farge because she used to be on the board.”
