Wide condemnation of the Israeli occupation forces’ storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque and attacking Palestinian worshipers continue

The Israeli occupation forces’ repeated storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque and attacking the Palestinian worshipers have been the source of wide Arab and International condemnation.

Hizbullah, for its part, strongly condemned the Israeli occupation forces’ storming of the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque and its attacks on worshipers, affirming its full solidarity with the Palestinian people and the resistance parties.

Hizbullah added: “What the occupation forces did is a flagrant violation of the sanctity of the believers and Al-Quds (Jerusalem). It affects all Muslims, Christians and free people in the world, and violates all religious, moral and human values. These practices require denunciation and condemnation from all the honorable and free people of the world.”

The Arab Lawyers Union also condemned the repeated incursions of the Israeli occupation forces into Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the brutal attacks on the worshipers.

WAFA news agency quoted the union as saying in a statement today: “The rogue Israeli occupation continues with its repeated criminal acts against worshipers, and its desecration of the sanctity of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque in the month of Ramadan, crossing all red lines and provoking the feelings of millions of Muslims all over the world. This requires real international action to protect the rights of the Palestinian people and the Islamic and Christian sanctities inside Al-Quds from the continuous Judaization attempts.

The Union denounced the international silence regarding the occupation’s crimes against the Palestinian people, calling on the Arab and Islamic countries to take serious steps and firm measures against the occupation in response to its brutal and repeated assault on the worshipers in Al-Aqsa Mosque, including women.

The union commended the sacrifices of the worshipers who are staying steadfast in the mosque to defend it against the continuous incursions of settlers and the Israeli occupation forces. It stressed support for the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian people until the liberation of every inch of the land of Palestine and its capital, Al-Quds.

Sheikh Salman Anter, head of the Palestinian national activities in the occupied territories in 1948, noted in a statement that these Zionist racist attacks on Palestinian worshipers, and the desecration of Al-Aqsa courtyards during the month of Ramadan represent an attack on the feelings of millions of Muslims, and a violation of all UN resolutions. He called on the international community to act to take deterrent measures against the occupation entity as to stop its crimes against the Palestinians.

South Africa also condemned the Israeli attacks on worshipers at Al-Aqsa Mosque, calling on the occupation authorities to abide by international laws and human rights and to stop their violations.

South Africa: Al-Aqsa Mosque belongs to the Palestinians, Arabs and Muslims

The South African Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated, in a statement reported by WAFA, that the occupation forces’ use of stun grenades and poisonous gas against worshipers is disgraceful, and that these attacks threaten the internationally agreed status quo with regard to Al-Quds and its holy sites. It called for the immediate withdrawal of the occupation forces from Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The Foreign Ministry stressed that Al-Aqsa Mosque belongs to the Palestinians, Arabs and Muslims, and they do not need permission or approval from the occupation government to enter it or pray in it, stressing the right of Muslim worshipers to pray in peace without fear or intimidation from the occupation forces.

The Foreign Ministry drew attention to South Africa’s commitment to the efforts aimed at finding a settlement to the Palestinian issue that leads to ending the occupation and protecting human rights.

These violations continue from time to time without accountability”.

The statement affirmed the UAE’s rejection of all practices that violate international legitimacy resolutions and threaten further escalation. It stressed the importance of supporting all regional and international efforts to advance the peace process in the Middle East, as well as putting an end to illegal practices that threaten reaching a two-state solution and establishing an independent Palestinian state on the 1967 borders, with Al-Quds as its capital.
