The Al-Shifa Complex which is the largest hospital in the Strip as tens of thousands of displaced people took refuge there while the Complex still lacks water and food.

The World Health Organization said: The team that visited the complex described the emergency services as a bloodbath, with hundreds of patients and injured inside it, while new patients arrive every minute. WHO pointed out that patients suffering from shocks are receiving treatment on the ground, and the means to relieve pain is very limited or even non-available.

The organization indicated that the complex is operating at its minimum capacity with a very limited medical team. The seriously ill patients were transferred to the Maamadani “Baptist” Hospital to undergo surgical operations.
