WHO Representative in Syria Hails Government Efforts to Provide Medical Services to Citizens in Aleppo
ALEPPO, (ST)-Elezabeth Hoff, Representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Syria, has appreciated the efforts exerted by the Aleppo Health Directorate to provide medical and health services to citizens in the city.
Having briefed on the week-long National Vaccination Campaign against Polio which ended on Thursday after targeting 301480 children, Hoff said the procedures adopted by the Aleppo Health Directorate in Aleppo have achieved its hoped –for goal. She hailed the efforts exerted by the medical and technical staff to make the vaccination campaign a success and highly appreciated the health directorate’s keenness on rendering medical and health services to Aleppo citizens around the clock.
Hoff visited the associations health center in Aleppo where she was briefed on the medical services provided to citizens. She stressed the WHO’s readiness to give the support and assistance necessary to improve the health situation in the province.
