WHO delegation visits Golan Hospital to support and develop its medical services

The Medical Director of the Golan National Hospital, Dr. Mohammad Nawaf Kanaan, explained that delegates from the World Health Organization WHO visited the hospital in order to view the Emergency Department that has been rehabilitated and renovated by one of the donor organizations and study its pre-opening needs, as well as the General Operations Department.

Kanaan stressed that the visit comes with the aim of studying the actual needs of some departments, and how to support them to develop their medical services and ensure their continuity with high efficiency, within the framework of enhancing cooperation between the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization and in coordination with Quneitra Health.
The medical director explained that the medical staff provided a detailed explanation about the challenges facing them, and practical proposals to strengthen the infrastructure and secure the necessary medical supplies to provide the best services.
