Copenhagen (ST): The World Health Organization has renewed calls on rich states to help poor countries fight Corona by supporting the purchase of the anti-virus vaccine.

France Press quoted the director of the Organization’s European branch, Hans Kluge, as saying : “We have to be prepared for new problems with mutated versions of the virus by strengthening the capacity of countries and joining hands to accelerate vaccination operations with competing pharmaceutical companies to increase efforts to increase production capacity significantly”.

In response to a question about whether the vaccines available since December will be effective against new mutated versions of the virus, Klug replied: “This big question makes us feel anxious.”
