What the Palestinians are suffering in Gaza is a humanitarian catastrophe, says Czech politician

Prague, (ST) – The Head of the Czech Peace Movement, Milan Krajica affirmed that the word “humanitarian catastrophe” is no longer sufficient to describe the suffering of about 2.5 million Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, which has been subjected to continuous Israeli aggression since last October.

Krajica said in a post on social media: We now stand as eyewitnesses to the worst expectations of humanitarian and human rights organizations becoming a reality. He added: Those who survive the bombing and sniping in Gaza die due to lack of nutrition and the spread of epidemics.

Krajica stressed that the process of genocide against the Palestinians constitutes a direct continuation of decades of colonial policy and ethnic cleansing operations carried out by the occupation against them.

Krajica warned that famine is prevailing in Gaza as a direct result of the blockade imposed by the Israeli occupation authorities on humanitarian aid.
