West’s Allegations about Syrian Army Using Chemical Weapons Aim to Assist Terrorists, Delay Army’s Progress in Idleb

DAMASCUS, (ST)- Baseless and fake news on the Syrian Arab Army using chemical weapons in the town of Kabani in Lattakia countryside are nothing but an attempt by the western group of liars and hypocrites to launch threats against the Syrian state, an official source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has stressed, reiterating that all this noise won’t prevent Syria from going ahead with the fight against terrorism.

The source told SANA that the Syrian Arab Republic reiterates that it has been aware that this systematic campaign of lies to accuse the Syrian state of using chemical weapons is nothing but a desperate attempt by some western states, which serve the United States, to help alleviate the pressure put on their agent terrorists in Idleb and a bid to delay the progress of the Syrian army in this area.

The source went on to say that all this noise and concerted anti-Syria campaign won’t dissuade the country from pressing ahead with fighting terrorism and clean every inch of the Syrian territory from terrorists.
