MOSCOW,(ST)- Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has stressed that all the activities of the so-called international coalition, particularly the United States and its closed allies, indicate that the agenda of the western countries doesn’t include anything that has to do with preserving Syria’s unity or territorial integrity.
In a statement on Saturday, Zakharova said the West doesn’t seek preserving Syria’s territorial integrity, pointing out that the statement made by the French Permanent Representative to the United Nations regarding the situation in Syria wasn’t a slip of the tongue; rather, it expressed what the western countries have been thinking for years in this concern.”
The spokeswoman renewed Russia’s principled stance on the need to have all spectra of the Syrian people, including the Kurd, participating in the Syrian National Dialogue Congress.
