“Welcome Ramadan” Shopping Festival kicks off in Homs

Activities of the “Welcome Ramadan” Shopping Festival kicked off this evening at the Exhibition City in Al-Waer neighborhood in Homs province.

The festival was organized by the Al-Mouselli Foundation for Exhibitions and Conferences under the patronage of Homs Governorate. 62 commercial companies from various governorates are taking part in this event.

During the opening ceremon, Homs Governor Abdul Rahman Al-Aama stressed the importance of providing necessary support for economic and commercial activities, as these exhibitions are an opportunity to support the local economy and stimulate commercial activity in the governorate. In addition, such exhibitions provide job opportunities for young people.

In turn, the festival organizer Firas Mouslli pointed out that the festival’s activities will continue until the 27th of this month and that food items and a variety of goods, with discounts of up to 30 percent will be showcased.

Artistic and entertainment events and competitions will also be held in the sidelines of the exhibition.
