Welcome Back Syria

In his speech, Djiboutian President Ismail Omar Guelleh welcomed the return of Syria to the Arab League, considering this an important step towards strengthening joint Arab cooperation.

Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud also welcomed the return of Syria to the Arab League to exercise its historical role in various Arab issues.

For his part, Crown Prince of Kuwait Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah welcomed the return of Syria to the Arab League, expressing hope that it will be a starting point for ending the crisis in it. He affirmed his country’s position on the need to work in order to provide humanitarian assistance to the Syrian people.

The Kuwaiti Crown Prince also expressed rejection of any external interference in Syria’s internal affairs and stressed his country’s position on the need to preserve its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
