Weightlifting teams’ preparations underway

DAMASCUS, (ST) – The men and women’s national weightlifting teams are currently holding an indoor training camp at the Faiha sports complex in Damascus.

The camp is part of the teams’ preparations for taking part in the forthcoming activities at regional and international arenas.

The weightlifters who are already involved in the training sessions are: AhdGjeili, Maan As’ad, Mahran Harastani,Ali Jassem, Ali Jidid and Ali Hazaa.

As for women, Nahil Diab and Thuraya Subh will represent Syria in the Arab, regional and international arenas.
