Weightlifter Maan Asaad wins the Sports Creativity Award

Syrian weightlifter Maan Asaad won the Sports Creativity Award today within the 11th  tournament  of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Creativity, along with 28 sports champions.

 Asaad won the award in the category of athlete who accomplished a high level of achievement under difficult circumstances and great challenges, as he won the bronze of the last Tokyo Olympics 2020 in the weightlifting competitions over 109 kg.

The weightlifter Asaad won three gold medals in the Arab Weightlifting Championship, which was held recently in Iraq, with the wide participation of players from all Arab teams.

The Olympic weightlifter, Asaad, awarded our national team the three gold medals in competitions over 109 kg.
