Weapons, ammunition, left behind by ISIS terrorists, seized in Daraa countryside

Daraa -Authorities on Saturday seized a huge quality of weapons and ammunition, left behind by ISIS terrorist organization in several areas in Daraa countryside.

 

A source from the concerned authorities in Daraa told a SANA reporter that combing operations carried out in areas and farms in the vicinity of the cities and towns of Daraa by concerned authorities and locals, resulted in seizing a huge amount of light and medium weapons as well as ammunition left behind by ISIS terrorists.

The seized weapons included Automatic rifles, medium and heavy machine guns, RPG launchers, mortars, grenades and various kinds of rounds and large quantities of ammunition for these weapons, according to the source

On December 29th, 2022, authorities, in cooperation with locals in Al-Yadouda town in Daraa western countryside, seized a huge quantity of weapons and ammunition, some of which were made by western countries, in farms located in the vicinity of the town. The weapons were left behind by ISIS terrorists before their defeat in this area.
