Weapons, ammunition, left behind by “ISIS” terrorists in Daraa countryside, found in a security operation

A quantity of weapons and ammunitions, left by “ISIS” terrorist organization in Daraa countryside, were seized in a security operation carried out by concerned authorities over the past few days.

According to a security source, precise security operations, during the past few days, targeted ISIS terrorists’ positions in Daraa western countryside. A number of ISIS terrorists, including Abu Salem Al-Iraqi, Abu Omar Al-Jibabi and Mohammad Sael Al-Oudat, were eliminated and scores of others were arrested in these operations.

The ammunition and weapons inside these positions were also seized.

According to confessions by the arrested terrorists, the seized weapons included RPG shells, mortar rounds, various ammunition and bombs that were hidden in a secret place in Daraa western countryside.
